We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hi there,

Just setting up a new website for a dental practice that includes the use of Amelia in the backend - mainly for the dental staff to make bookings.   They would like it if customers could login to Amelia
    1) to check their appointments
    or
    2) cancel an appointment
However they don't want to allow customer to make appointments themselves at any stage (the staff are the only ones to do this).  Is this possible?  Any settings I need to make to ensure this?

    Thanks

    Gillian

    Hi Gillian,

Customers can see their appointments in the front-end Customer panel - so they would be able to see their appointments there and cancel them (cancelling is enabled by default in Amelia, and for rescheduling appointments you can either allow it or not to customers in Amelia -> Settings -> Roles settings). You can read about the customer panel and check out the instructions on how to set it up by following this link. Customers can't book appointments in the customer panel, Amelia booking form is needed for that, so if you don't add a booking form on the front-end, they won't be able to book appointments.

You can try out the customer panel on our demo sites, if that would help out.

If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
