Your workaround for the tables works great; however, yesterday I noticed that someone editing one of our Google Sheets had deleted a column heading. I have fixed but I need to get into the wpDataTables back end to refresh. When I try to do this, I get the message "The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions." I purged the Wordpress cache, same thing. Are you preventing editing right now? Is there something else that can be done? Thanks.
I think you can close this. But you should know a couple of things. One of the tables I was editing yesterday while you were doing something global to the plugin got corrupted. I had to recreate it. It was corrupted so badly I couldn't even edit the Wordpress page it was on, I had to trash it and create a new one.
Also, I downloaded plugin version 3.2 from your site today; I figured replacing the plugin couldn't hurt. We were running something like 2.5.4 – Wordpress did NOT display that there was an update available.
I'm not sure what you mean. Tables linked to existing Google Spreadsheets can't be edited.
Also, we didn't do anything with our plugin, and even if we did - you wouldn't be able to see it until the new update is released. I'd like to know what you're referring to exactly, as it probably isn't coming from us.
As for the license - did you activate your purchase code in wpDataTables settings/Activation? If you did, you should see there's a new update available as soon as we release it.
I didn't mean editing the table content, I meant changing the configuration of the table in wpDataTables, the way it appears on screen.
Something corrupted one particular table during this Google outage; briefly I couldn't get in to configure any of the tables, so I assumed it was something going on on your end. I have updated the plug-in and re-created the table in question, so it's probably not worth worrying about.
I thought that wpDataTables was activated, but right now when I paste my key in it's telling me I have exceeded my number of registered domains. I think I know why that's going on (we only have it on one website, but our cybersecurity people insisted that our Wordpress instance run on a different URL than the actual website – thehelm.polb.com for the CMS, polb.com for the public site – so I suspect that's the issue). So I may need to just manually update the plug-in.
You can close this out, I think everything is OK now. Thanks for the reply!

I understand Chris.
The license is currently active on stellaragency.com/polb-admin
If you want - we can deactivate it from there, but updating manually will also work. Just let me know if there's anything I can do about this.

Aleksandar – yes, that's an old staging site! Can you de-activate and I'll reconnect the live site? Thank you!
Chris
Done Chris
I deactivated the license, so you can now activate it on your live site.
