"Fix / WorkAround Looks like Google made some kind of a change. After tinkering around a bit more I found that in the sheet after (1) Stopping the publish, (2) change share to anyone with a link can view and (3) then Re-publishing the sheet. it works again. "
Does this mean it can't be fixed with a software update? Or is a possible patch still in the works to get it working without having to update hundreds (or thousands) of Google Sheets?
At the moment, there is no other solution than doing this for all your spreadsheets.
Our developers are working on creating a new integration, so you don't have to do it like this, but I cannot say if or when it will be included in the plugin.
Hi,
Today, without clear cause, all my integrations between wpDataTables and Google sheets stopped working.
What worked yesterday, doesn't work today. When I try to add a new link (pulling from the URL) I get the message "Table in data source has no rows.".
Even when I try to integrate a very simple table (following all rules described here), it doesn't work anymore.
May you please help.
Thank you,
Kevin
I have the same problem Kevin.
Oops, I hope it gets solved
Hi Fermi. This worked for me (cross-posting):
"Fix / WorkAround
Looks like Google made some kind of a change. After tinkering around a bit more I found that in the sheet after (1) Stopping the publish, (2) change share to anyone with a link can view and (3) then Re-publishing the sheet. it works again. "
Oops, I try it, but my website contains 115 different tables, from different spreadsheets ... mmmmm
Thanks Kevin
Unfortunately, all plugins and software that relied on Google's API are now affected.
As indicated in other tickets:
Google changed their API, and almost all tables created by linking to a Google Spreadsheet are affected.
Please take a look at this FAQ thread, and you’ll see how you can resolve the issue.
The issue is displayed either as "Table in data source has no rows" error when trying to create a new table:
Or "No data available in the table" in an existing table:
Sorry for the inconvenience.
