The users input data into one of the tables. I created another table using "generate a query to the WP db", but do not see the option in here to filter posts by tag when they match the users input.
I'm sure I am not the only one who would appreciate a video added to the knowledge base covering this.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. What tags are you referring to?
If your users added data in a manual table, you would be able to query that table using the MySQL database query generator.
If that doesn't help, can you please provide me some screenshots so I understand what you mean?
