My client had a problem where the name of the new event he added to Amelia had an extra space at the end. The name of an event gets sent through Zapier into Quickbooks where it is matched with existing products. So an extra space caused everything to fail. It would be useful for Amelia to auto-trim extra whitespace to prevent these little problems - as a web developer for years now, it is something I'd automatically put in the code. For instance, Quickbooks does, so I couldn't patch things on that end. So now all the invoices have to be generated manually.
Apologies for replying a bit later, we don't work on weekends.
We can't remove space completely from Events names, as events can have names with several words and the look of the names can vary. But I will forward this to our developers, as a suggestion/feature request for the future updates of Amelia, so they can check and consider , if possible, removing any space added after the last word in a string.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
