Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

I have one category and on service with a standard duration of 90min. The reservation can be made between 3pm and 10pm. And that should make the last appointment of the day only 60min long, however Amelia does not let me do this. It either does not show the possibility to book between 9pm and 10pm (frontend) OR it forces me to keep the reservation open until 10:30pm. What would be the best solution for this?

Question number 2. I need the customer panel to show all active reservations for the current week and in the future, without the customer having to choose a range of dates from the calender. Is this possible?

    Hello Alex

    Thank you for your purchase.

Well, you're trying to override the logic of the plugin, and it will never work like that. If you have a 90-minute long service, it cannot fit into a 60-minute time slot. So, there are two options here:

    1. Extend your employee's working hours so he works until 10:30.

    2. Create another 60-minute long service; go to your employee's working hours and create a couple of periods. One period would include the Service1 (90-minute-long service) until 9PM; and the second period would include Service2 (60-minute-long service) from 9 - 10PM.

Unfortunately modifying the customer panel is not possible at the moment. Our developers will work on that in the future, but right now they need to select the date range in the filter to see their bookings.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks Aleksandar. I gather this much on my own. The problem is, that I don't want the dropdown with two different services. I want one calendar with the possibility to choose a time slot between 3pm and 10pm with the last one being only 60min long, the rest 90min. Still trying to figure something out and would love your help. Not giving up here :)

For the customer front end, that's too bad, I would really fancy that for a future update!

    Thanks for a great plugin!

    Hi again Alex

I appreciate your determination to make it work, but it will not work like that.

There's no way to only see the calendar, and show different duration based on the time of day - it's not possible. If you want to see only the calendar, only one service and one employee need to be included; and if you do that, the service has a fixed duration, so it's either 60 minutes, or 90 minutes. It can't work like you want it to work.

Not even with custom work, because - like I mentioned - you're trying to override the logic of the plugin - the core logic of the plugin; so it will not work now, and I'm pretty sure it will never work like that.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
