I experience problems with labeling Amelia. I can only change single words and it turns out to be "bad german". It says "Bitte auswählen Dienstleistung:" That is wrong!
Unfortunately, "Please select service" is composed of two strings - "Please select" and "Service", so when you change "Service" in Labels settings, it applies to this.
I forwarded this to our development team, and hopefully they will be able to remove this, and have that sentence appear in a single string, so you're able to change it, but unfortunately for now - it cannot be changed.
I've raised this with our development team, and they will look into it.
In the meantime, you would be able to change this only on front end using innerHTML.
That's custom work, though, so I cannot help you with that.
I haven't tried deleting the "Service" string, though, so you can try that. If you're not able to do it, please let me know and I'll see if there's anything I can do about it.
Aleksandar is out of the office, so I will try to help out.
Unfortunately, there isn't anything new regarding this string/change in Amelia. It is added to our list as a feature request and our developers will check if there is anything that could be done regarding this.
For the front-end editing, we can't help out with that unfortunately, as our support doesn't cover such customization of the plugin, like Aleksandar mentioned. You can check if disabling Labels in Amelia -> Settings and modifying the string somehow (changing the word order or anything) would maybe help out.
Another Update of Amelia without the possibility of labeling correctly. This is ridiculus and sounds really crappy for our customers. What is the deal about changing one single option?
We're working with WPML to separate the strings you need to achieve this.
It requires modifying a lot of strings in the plugin, and it's not as simple as changing a single option. A lot has to be adjusted for this to work. I hope our developers are able to implement the new strings and behavior for our next update, but I can't promise anything.
Hello!
I experience problems with labeling Amelia. I can only change single words and it turns out to be "bad german". It says "Bitte auswählen Dienstleistung:" That is wrong!
It scould be:
"Bitte Dienstleistung auswählen"
Isn't it possible to change the whole text?
Thank you!

Oh ok. Wow. :-(
Would be great because this is be bad for any german user.
It would be best to be able to change the whole sentence
Regards
Timo
Hi there,
Would it be possible to speed this up? This looks very very weired.
In the meantime, is there a way, to manualy change the strings? E.g. remove the "Service" string and just go with "Please select"?
Thanks, best regards, Irene

I just can't understand.
