Hi. I have just finished translating your plugin into icelandic but I want to add these changes to the sites I am building, but I do not want to change the hole site language. Could you help me figure out a way to add the translation only to the plugin but not anything else. ( We like having the dashboard in english)

Unfortunately, Amelia can only be translated if you change the WordPress language, and it can't pull the translation data without doing that.
The only thing you can do is replace the en_US.po and en_US.mo file with the Icelandic translation. You would leave the names of the files (en_US.po and en_US.mo), so the plugin thinks it's an English file, but instead it would be Icelandic.
