We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
We are using Amelia on our Wordpress website and we have the integration working. However when I now add new events it doesn't add a Zoom link.
It was working correctly this morning and has suddenly just stopped. I have spoken to Zoom and there are no limitations on our account.
Attached are two images, one showing a zoom link added, when I add another event (in the same way) it doesn't add the link.
My client is desperate to get this live due to the UK lockdown but we cant until this is corrected.
Please can you help asap.
Thanks
PS. I have created a video you can see here: https://www.loom.com/share/cc57d1d8b5424e74b0124f58819ff48f
Hello Jon Ladd,
Thank you for your purchase.
Unfortunately, we can't check what the issue is from the screenshots/video, so we would need to login to check this out.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Thanks, I have sent the details. Please let me know asap.
Thank you.
I logged in and checked everything regarding Zoom, but everything seems correct, no errors, no issues a Zoom user is successfully retrieved from Zoom.
I tried creating an event but there weren't a Zoom link in it, event though I have chosen a Zoom user. Then I changed your Zoom credentials, I provided our Zoom test account credentials, and everything worked properly, I created an event and the Zoom link was generated successfully, I created the event first for one day only, and then changed it to recur weekly until some date in the future, and events had Zoom links in them. Please look at the attachments.
It seems like the issue is in your Zoom account, something there is not allowing creating meetings from Amelia. You need to check this out within your Zoom account again, maybe there is some setting changed or something that is not allowing creating meetings there.
Thanks so much!
I have too tested this and this is the case, however have you tried to do it multiple times? After a while it just stops. I was able to add some more dates this morning under the normal account it then just stopped again.
Can you advise?
Many thanks,
Jon
You are welcome, Jon.
I verified with our developer that there isn't some limit in Amelia that could cause this to stop working after some time/number of events. So, it seems like the issue is coming from the Zoom account, you should check this out with them to see how and why this could happen.
I tried now creating a lot of recurring events on our website with the Zoom account I used on your website, and I got no issues while doing this, each one of the events has a Zoom meeting in it.
