We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I was wondering if a Back End User was scheduling an appointment that was not at the designated time slots, could they put in the time that they wanted? Right now it only allows for the BE user to select a timeslot from dropdown menu, I would like to be able to have the user select the time that they want. Is this possible?
Helo Lauren,
Thank you for your purchase.
The available time slots are the same on the front-end and in the back-end for booking appointments in Amelia. So, there isn't a possibility to create an appointment in the back-end outside of the employees' work hours in Amelia with its current built-in features, unfortunately. It isn't possible for the back-end user to choose any date/time that isn't covered by the employees' work hours.
Hi Marija,
Is it possible to change the blocks either before or after an appointment is made. For example, if I had a block from 11am to 12, but I wanted to schedule an appointment for 11:15. Or if I wanted to add an extra 15 minutes to an appointment if an appointment ran late.
Hi Lauren,
The Default time slot step option affects all the time slots in the plugin, so you would need to set it to 15 min or something like that to have 11:15 as a time slot. But if you choose to enable Use service duration for booking a time slot this wouldn't be possible if the service is with duration 1 hour. This is set like this for all bookings, there isn't some way of changing it for some appointments only.
Or if I wanted to add an extra 15 minutes to an appointment if an appointment ran late.
You can add some duration to one service/appointment with Extras only, but still you will need to create the Extras for the service at first, and customers can choose one of the extras in the booking process.
