Hi,
I'm trying to find the best solution to plan ahead for 4-5 employees in Amelia. All employees have different weekly schedules, so no fixed weekly hours or days. I don't want to change the schedule in Amelia every week for every employee :)
Example:
Employee 1
Week 45: Monday 09.00-17.00h / Wednesday 09.00-16.00h (other days not available
Week 46: Tuesday 09.00-1500h / Thursday 08.00-16.00h(other days not available
Week 47: other days / hours etc.
Employee 2
Week 45: Tuesday 10.00-17.00h / Wednesday 09.00-16.00h (other days not available
Week 46: Wednesday 10.00-1500h / Thursday 08.00-16.00h(other days not available
Week 47: other days / hours etc.
What is the best way to plan a variable weekly schedule per employee?
Hope you can help out, thanks!
Best,
Paul
Hello Paul,
Employees' work hours are set on a weekly basis in Amelia and there isn't an option to change that unfortunately. You can check out the Special days feature, with it the employees' usual work hours are overridden on the dates you choose when you create the special day. It is created for overriding the work hours on special occasions, but I've seen several users use it to set their employees' availability in general, so they don't have work hours set for the employees at all, only Special days. I hope this will help for your use case. You will find a tab for creating Special days in the Employee modal on the Amelia -> Employees page.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
Hi Marija,
Alright clear, so it's not possible to plan a flexible schedule with Amelia, only a general weekly schedule. Let me check the special days, this seem to fix the problem. Thanks!
Paul
You are welcome, Paul.
I hope the special days will help for your use case.
