We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
I have a problem with my teachers ... I have configured Amelia so that each teacher can manage their classes themselves.
In the calendar section, the teacher can see all the classes scheduled, past and future, that's very good.
The problem is that in the past classes there is also the option to edit the reservation, and it should not be.
I have problems because sometimes they make a mistake and select a past day and edit the reservation.
This inconvenience means that it cannot be all automatic, because I have to solve the problems manually.
Is it not possible to remove the "edit" button on past reservations? I see that it is giving them too much power if they can edit past reservations.
Thank you very much
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately, there isn't a possibility to remove the Edit button with Amelia's current built-in features.
You can try maybe hiding it with adding custom CSS, but since this is a mandatory field, maybe that wouldn't be convenient. You can also customise your page applying HTML code and see if that works.
I will add this as a feature request to our list.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
