We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Is there a way to pre-populate the user details using URL variables?

I'm looking to have Amelia booking for a discovery call as the direct next step to completing a different form, and it would be great to be able to pre-populate their user details so they don't have to re-type the details again.

    Thanks!

    Hello Duncan,

    Thank you for your request.

Can you please clarify which URL variables are you referring to and which form is supposed to be pre-populated?

The fields are pre-populated with customers' information only if they are logged in to WordPress or if they are logged in to the Amelia Customer panel.

    Hi Den,

Yes sure - it's the same fields Name, email, company - I'd like to be able to pass these via URL variables to Amelia to pre-populate them.

We don't force a user to create an account just to fill out a form (e.g. a contact form), and so this would be a nice way to make their lives a little easier!

The scneario is that we embed amelia on the Thank you page of the form and give them the opportunity to book a time there and then.

    Hi Duncan,

I will confirm this with my team and get back to you tomorrow.

    Hi Duncan,

I am afraid there isn't a possibility to pass Amelia customer's data using URL, sorry.
