We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
In our country (Chile) we had a time change, we went from UTC-4 to UTC-3, the problem is that when changing the time in Wordpress, all sessions change time also making it impossible for us to be able to change the time in our wordpress. On the other hand, ZOOM did change the time correctly, so ZOOM shows one more hour in the meeting scheduling and this leads to many of our clients getting confused, even changing the time from ZOOM to UTC-4 It will depend on the configuration of each device on how the time is displayed.
Our question is: How can we change the time in Wordpress, without modifying the Hours in Amelia?
Hello Felipe,
Thank you for getting in touch.
Can you please select the city instead of the Time Zone in your WP General settings. This should solve the issue.
NOPE, does`t work, it change all the AMELIA reservations hours too.
Hello Felipe,
Unfortunately, there isn't a way for them to change the time in their WordPress and not to change the times in Amelia. The WP timezone setting applies to Amelia as well, and if it wasn't set correctly up until now, these times will change when they change the time in WP.
The UTC +something options in WP don't recognize the daylight savings / time change and this is why they had an issue with this. The only way to fix this is by changing their WP timezone to their City timezone, like you suggested them to do. And yes, they would have the issue with the times in the back-end of Amelia then, they can only change these times manually in the back-end - they can uncheck the reschedule email notification in this case so customers won't get notifications about this :/ there isn't another way, unfortunately.
OK, so unfortunately we will have to wait until the next time change in our country to be able to configure our Wordpress and Amelia correctly.
Thank you.
