I'm currently unable to copy and paste information from Google Sheets into the Excel view of the manual data table.

I made sure the source columns were values only, not containing formulas.

This method worked before but is no longer working. I updated the plugin to the latest version and still have the same issue.

When I paste, the table shows the loading icon, then even creates new rows, if needed, but everything in those rows is blank. I save and view on the front-end and still blank. I've done a hard refresh on the browser but same issue.

I've also tried copying one row at a time and one column at a time, no luck.

I've made sure the columns are set to the proper data type... in this case, string. I've also tried with various column settings turned off and on - no luck.

It looks like i've figured it out... in order to update the table using the excel-like feature the column must be visible on the front-end. However, once you update the content you can then turn the visibility off again.

    Hello Christopher

Thank you for your feedback. If I understood this correctly, you tried to copy rows into a table that had some columns hidden? If that's true, it sounds logical that you were unable to paste that.

Can you record your screen real quick, so I see exactly what happens.

    Kind Regards,

    Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksander - Indeed, I wasn't able to paste data via the excel-like feature when the columns were set to hidden. I had to make them visible, paste the content, then hide the columns again.

The reason why I need columns hidden but still be able to update via copy and paste is that these columns are technically filterable on the front-end but not displayed. They affect the displayed columns because the displayed columns are calculated/formula columns that depend on the hidden questions.

I highly recommend enabling the excel-like feature for hidden columns. Took me a day to figure this out and did so with luck.
