Hi I am using Stripe Gateway with amelia . the issue is when i entered the credit card information or client enter the details of credit or debit card details it asks for zip code . is there any way to remove the zip code field both picture are attached you can see before entering the details after entering the details
Hello Irtaza,
There isn't a possibility of removing this field, as it is a required field by Stripe for payments. For countries where this is a required information for the payments , the zip code field will show up and be required, and for countries where this isn't information needed, this zip code field won't show up and won't be required (when you fill in card information , Stripe recognizes the country and whether zip is required or not).
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
Hi, I am also having this problem, I am developing and testing in the UK and I am still getting the ZIP field come up instead of postcode, any advice?
First of all activate payment methods in live and then testing after that try to change the card.It ll Track automatically and change into ZIP or post.
Hi Luke Kay,
Stripe recognizes the card information that you provide to the input fields and depending on that the postcode field modifies or disappears, whether it is needed for the country where that credit card is issued from or not. So, after you fill in card info from a country, the field modifies. There are international test cards in Stripe so you can try this out - https://stripe.com/docs/testing
