I have been looking and I can't find the information anywhere.
How can I let the employee connect their Google Calendar without asking for their private login and password and without them accessing the backend?
For now, I found a workaround by syncing all employees with my Google calendar, saving their appointments in separate calendars and then sharing those calendars with them, but I feel there should be such a possibility in the Employee Panel.
Another thing is that after syncing the calendar for the first time, the Google calendar only shows the new appointments made from then on and does not sync any of the previously scheduled appointments even if they are still to take place.
Our developers are aware of this limitation, and they will work on this, so in the future your employees will be able to connect to their Google Calendar from the front-end Employee panel.
At the moment, they need to log into WordPress and do it from there.
You're also correct about the sync. Only the new appointments that have been created after you synced the employee with his calendar will appear, and old appointments cannot be moved into the calendar.
I'll forward this to them again, but I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
I've added this request to the features suggestions but can't see it or whether others have added yet. This is a really important missing part of the employee front end.
Don't worry Tania, this feature is being requested frequently.
I spoke with the development team yesterday regarding this, and they confirmed they're discussing what the best approach would be. I hope they'll be able to implement it soon.
That's great to hear Aleksander! A lot of our service providers are having trouble setting this up as I have to do it in a round a bout way so it should stop all of the confusion :))

Hope you can clarify.
