HOW ON EARTH do you do that? it looks amazing. I know the settings changes needed, but my question is how can I create that effect of a cell unfolding to produce more information about itself with a click of the plus sign? I've tried Grouping rows and columns in Excel, but the grouping doesn't appear when I upload the spreadsheet to wpDataTable. Is it something that should be done online? Can it be done from the spreadsheet on my desktop before being uploaded?
3) you don't allow two columns with the same first-row name to appear together, right? I've tried giving two rows the same first-row (header?) name , and one of them didn't appear. Not that it matters to my work, but thought this could be a bug.
4) one of the reasons i bought the plugin was that i thought i saw cells can have gradient colors depending on values within the same column. Is it possible? I use that function on Google Sheet, but if I can do it in Excel, is it also reflected in wpdatatable?
5) I use the same settings for all tables. Is there a way to set the settings by default?
sorry for so many questions. thank you for the great product!
Thank you for your purchase, and sorry for the late response.
1. I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
2. When you enable Responsiveness in the Display tab above the table, each column gets a couple of new buttons - Hide On Tablets, and Hide On Mobiles. You can choose which column is hidden on a tablet, and which one is hidden on mobile devices.
3. You cannot have two columns with the same header, but you can change the displayed header. So, if you need both columns to be "name", you can create the table with "name" and "name1", and then you can change that when you enter column settings -> Displayed header.
5. Unfortunately, no. Each new table needs to be set up separately, and currently there's no way to copy the settings. The only thing you can do is duplicate the table from the tables list.
hi, thanks for the great product. never been happier to pay for a plugin.
I have two questions.
1) does your product support googlefinance commands? for example, if i insert =googlefinance in a cell, is the value from the command reflected?
2) in this page, your company shows that a drop-down button can be used to fold and unfold a cell.

Hello IW
Thank you for your purchase, and sorry for the late response.

4. To achieve this, you need to use conditional formatting.
5. Unfortunately, no. Each new table needs to be set up separately, and currently there's no way to copy the settings. The only thing you can do is duplicate the table from the tables list.
