I can't find a way out of my problem. I need my clients to automatically sign up to Amelia's system but without booking.
My service system can only be seen by previously registered users. If I choose the option that they register in WP, they must also register in Amelia after making a reservation but different users are created.
I know that I can connect a Wp user to Amelia manually. But the convenient thing is that the process is automatic and that my client registers in Amelia's system without making a prior reservation.
if you go to WP settings - general settings, you can assign the new user role as Amelia Customer. that should do what you need for when new users sign up. you still have to add the existing users manually though.
Thanks for the reply John. The problem is that in the end it has to be done manually to upload the WP user to the Amelia bases. And for me it is unfeasible to always do it manually.
I hope they give me a solution, even if they insert some code, if I don't think I'll have to leave the plugin ...
There isn't another possibility to automatically create customers in Amelia, besides when they book appointments, unfortunately . You can only manually create them in the back-end of Amelia on the Customers page. When you create them manually there is an option to connect them to a WP user or create new WP user for them (these WP users will have the Amelia customer user role in WP). If they book appointments in Amelia while they are logged in to WordPress and the option for them to be automatically created in WP as well is enabled, these WP users will be connected to the Amelia customers created in those bookings.
I'm having the exact same issue. I really do need subscribers who subscribe to my website through Memberpress to automatically have access to Amelia. It is impossible to manage this manually. I'm not 24/7 in my admin dashboard updating user roles :(
Is this feature going to be available in the next update? Else just like gestio I'm afraid I'll have to stop using Amelia and after all the time I've spent on it, it breaks my heart :(
Unfortunately, this isn't possible in Amelia, as users can't access the Customer panel if they are not created as customers in the plugin itself. Only Amelia customers can access the panel - there needs to be a connection created for the user to the Amelia customer - so in the panel those exact users' appointments would show up.
Sorry to see that. For now, this isn't planned for implementation, unfortunately, as we have many feature requests and the most requested ones are in the top of the list. You can suggest this feature here, and I will add your vote to it in our feature requests list.
