We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I'm looking to switch to wpDataTables but want to be sure it will work as needed.
I create tables monthly that require two row headings, like in the included photo.
I would like to be able to bring these in from google sheets.
With my current plugin when I try to bring in the pictured spreadsheet table it turns into a mess (also pictured).
I'd like it to look a little more like the basic web table I also included a photo for.
Are double headers rows possible in wpDataTable and will they work when brought in from google sheets? (Link to the table in question is included in the related URL)
Thanks for the help!
Bret
Hello Bret
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
Unfortunately, pulling data from a Google Spreadsheet like this is not possible. wpDataTables would probably pull the data in like that other plugin does.
We don't have support for double headers, or merged cells.
We are going to release a new table type, where you will be able to add data like this in the next couple of weeks. However, those tables would not be editable, filterable, searchable from front-end. You would need to create the table manually, from back-end, and it could only be used for displaying data.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
