I have made an integration with one Google Calendar but the times I am busy are still available for selection when visitting the site. I changed the range of the available times to allow for fewer choices but that did not update in the system and it is using what I first entered in Working Hours. Can you help?
Did you connect your employee to that calendar? Also, in Amelia Settings/Integrations/Google Calendar, did you enable "Remove Google Calendar Busy Events"? If you did, please make sure to also increase "Maximum number of events returned" to a bigger value (1000 would be fine).
Hi Aleksandar, I have enabled the Remove Google Calendar Busy Events and have set the Maximum Events to 1000 but it still doesn't work.
I am not sure what you mean about connecting the employee to the calendar. I have added an employee and added the Google API details according to the guidelines on the relevant Google Calendar integration. Is there something more required?
One strange behaviour is also that I have changed the working hours to reflect my availability (since I couldn't make the Google Calendar work) and the calendar insists on using my old hours. For example for Thursday I have set in Working Hours 11:00-13:00 and 15:00-17:00. Now if you go to my calendar (https://naoumliotas.com/contact/booking-a-session/) and try to make a booking on the 15th October 2020, you see 9am - 9pm available. (??? Very Confusing)
I have connected the Google Calendar in the employee settings and it now works. Sorry I missed that.
There is a strange behaviour in the working hours which somehow are not updated in the calendar but it is a minor issue. Please let me know if there's something I need to do.
Sorry for the late response, we're out of office since yesterday, with limited internet access.
Which working hours are you changing?
If you created your employees before you configured Global Working Hours, those employees picked up the Company’s working hours which come as default with the plugin (09:00 – 17:00).
Employees can have different working hours than those of the company, so to configure availability for your services, you need to configure the working hours of employees assigned to those services. Employees’ working hours override the company’s working hours. To set them up, you need to go to the “Employees” section, select the employee, and configure their schedule from the “Work Hours” tab.
