We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Would be great if you could enable the ability to 'clone' or 'copy' or 'duplicate' an Event the same way you can 'copy' a Service in Amelia.  Would make data entry so much faster.

    Here's the scenario:

    • We sell a 6 week program where people pick a time slot they will attend weekly for the next 6 weeks
    • The way we do this now is to create a New Event with the following details:
      • Title: 6 wk program Wed 1-2pm
      • Dates*: we add each date and time separately for the Wed 1-2pm time slot for the 6 week program
      • Maximum allowed spots: 8 (for Covid reasons)
      • Price: $0.00 (we ask people to pay for the whole 6 weeks using Woocommerce first (eg. https://book.sharprgroup.com/futuro), then we give them the link to this special booking page: (eg. http://book.sharprgroup.com/futuro1)
      • Create a special tag for the event (eg. futuro10-21)
      • Set location, staff, description, images, payment settings, etc...)

*Dates: we found that manually entering each date/time was better than using the 'recurring event' feature for several reasons:

    • enables the use of special 'tag' (eg. [ameliaevents tag="futuro10-21"] ) so we only show the first event in the series to register for (See what I mean here: http://book.sharprgroup.com/futuro1).
    • the email confirmation of the event then contains ALL the dates and times the user signed up for in 1 single confirmation email
    • it clearly shows the user how many people are signed up for each time slot for that 6 week program

    THEN,

We end up having to REPEAT these exact same steps for:

    • every time slot we want to run
    • every repeating 6 week session

(this is the only way we've been able to get around some of Amelia's quirks at setting up repeating programs)

    OUR ASK

Enable a copy  ⎘ button in the 'Create New Event' section, similar to the way you've set up copying a 'Service'.

    Much appreciated! - Steve4

    Hello Steve

Thank you for your feedback. I totally agree with you on this, and I can say that our development team has this planned for one of our future updates.

I cannot say when it will be added, but I'll see to it that they are informed this is a much needed feature. I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.

    Kind Regards,

    Aleksandar Vuković
