We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Good day!
I have installed the plugin on two test sites at the moment:
https://dj-audionym.de/
https://kvk-medien.de/
Case 1
Where can I define that employees appear first in the order process instead of the time window or is that not possible with this plugin?
One customer is a hairdressing salon, so the customers first want to determine that their favorite hairdresser can cut. The possible time window is therefore initially irrelevant for the customer
Case 2 (related to case 1)
To the ordering process. After selecting the day, as a customer, I have to determine a time window. The rigid time window of one hour is nonsensical and impractical because some services take longer or shorter than an hour and / or are made up of several individual services .. is that a bug or is it due to incorrect handling or configuration?
Case 3: (Hair salon again):
One employee is slower than others (because they are newly hired) - Can I make the times for a service flexible or different for each employee?
Thanks in advance!
With best regards

IN GERMAN
Guten Tag!
Hello Moritz
1. If you assign multiple employees to a service, and add the [ameliabooking] or [ameliacatalog] shortcode to your page, your customers would be able to select the employee before they get to the calendar.
2. Each service has its own duration, so if Service 1 lasts 1 hour, it will be offered in 1-hour slots. If it lasts 7 hours, it will be offered in 7 hour slots. Different services can have different durations, and their availability depends on the employee. If the employee works for 3 hours, and the service lasts 4 hours, it will not be available. You can also add extras to services, which can have their own prices and duration.
3. Services have a fixed duration, and that can't be changed per employee. However, you can add breaks for this employee, so they have more time. For example, if the service lasts 1 hour, you can configure your employee's working hours like this:
Working time from 08:00 - 09:00;
Break from 09:00 - 09:30;
Working time from 09:30 - 10:30;
Break from 10:30 - 11:00
And so on.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksandar,
Thank you for your detailed and quick feedback. I am a little embarrassed - apparently I have not yet understood all the functions of "Amelia" and I have not yet fully understood this powerful tool. Thanks for the help on the way to expertise. Then the plugin fulfills all important and above all my individual requirements.
Best regards.
Moritz
