Hi Support,

I am trying to customise customer notifications that are sent for specific services but can't see how to add content that is only seen when that specific service is selected.

    Example:

We offer 10 services, most are generic spa offerings. 1 service (consultation) requires the customer to complete an online survey before their appointment. We would like to add this survey link and associated instructions to the appointment approved email that is sent out, however, we do not need it to be sent for the general spa consults as it confuses people.

I have an idea about using a custom field to include this information, but could not put all the bits together to make it work.

We would also like to send more reminders than just 1 day before (1 day before, 2 hours before, 30 mins before, etc). Is it possible to add more scheduled emails?

My other option is to push everything out to Active Campaign, but I would definitely prefer to use the in-built capabilities of Amelia if possible.

    Many thanks,

    Tim

    Hello Tim

At the moment, the only way to make it work would be using the custom fields.

The TEXT CONTENT custom field allows you to add hyperlinks, so you can create the custom field that would say (for example):

"Please take our survey after you book the appointment"

Then you would be able to add that custom field in the email notification with %custom_field_1% (if we assume, this is the custom field with ID 1). Since all notifications are the same (they can't be different per survey), and this custom field would only be assigned to that service, all other services' notifications would not contain it, while consultation service would have that field in the email.

Our development team will work on custom notifications in the future, but I can't say when exactly they will be added.

    Kind Regards,
