Trying to work out how to restrict services to specific days? Basically i run a photo studio and want to charge more at weekends and offer shorter cheaper session during the week.
Thank you for your purchase and apologies for replying a bit later, we don't work on weekends.
There isn't a possibility to have different price for the same servicce on different days in Amelia , unfortunately. There is an option to have different prices per employee, when you open the employee modal under the Assigned services tab you can set a different price for that employee per service. Then, the availability for the service would be set by configuring the employees' work hours.
For your use case, you would need to have different services - one for weekdays, one for weekends with different prices, and assign the first to employees on weekdays, and the second on weekends. Or have two employees - one for weekends, one for weekdays - and have different prices for the assigned services per employee - and have work hours for the first employee on weekdays only, and for the second on weekends.
thanks for confirming what I finally figured out was the only way of doing it. I went down the two employees route for the time being. Got it working but there are few thing i don't like.
TBH I'm a little disappointed in the plugin. its not quite as adaptable as i though it would be for a paid premium plugin. Surely being able to specify what day a specific service is available when setting the service up is a basic requirement?
Also the calendar / text view is rather small and yes i can probably change it via CSS but thats hassle… Also it would be nice to see a month view showing what days are booked / free?
What is your refund policy? Going to give it a week and then make a decision on wether to keep it.
Sorry to see you don't find Amelia completely suitable for your business needs so far.
The availability of services in Amelia is set by configuring the employees' work hours, as there can be many employees assigned to it and they can have different work hours.
In the step by step booking view, the dates that are not available (don't have free time slots for booking) are lined out (grayed out).
You can enable all of the payment methods (on-site, PayPal and Stripe) at once if you want, and then you can choose payment method per service. https://wpamelia.com/configuring-payments/ If you enable WooCommerce integration you can't use the Amelia payment options at the same time, you can have only WooCommerce in this case. https://wpamelia.com/woocommerce-integration/
Our company policy is 15 days money back guarantee, so you can ask for a refund in our store up until 15 days after you purchased the plugin.
