Hi, some of our events are run on Zoom by external clients. The clients send us the zoom links which are valid for a month, then they send us a new one. Is there any way to add these links to the events so that they are sent out in the event notification emails rather than us having to email them separately? The clients will also use the same links for other customers of theirs that have booked the event independently.
You can add the links to the events' description, it supports HTML, and then add that placeholder (for the events' description ) to the email notifications on the Amelia -> Notifications page.
Yes, it would, unfortunately. There isn't some way of adding it to the event and for it not to be visible on the front-end. The description field can be hidden with CSS on the front-end, but I am not sure if that would be convenient for you.
It would be good to be able to change the email notifications for each appointment/event, then it could be added there, this is how I used to do it using Modern Events Calendar. Is this something the developers are looking to add in the future?
We have this in our to-do list, but it isn't planned for now, so we can't say when it could be implemented, unfortunately.
You can check out the Webhooks feature, if it could help you achieve what you need, with it data can be sent from Amelia to some other automation tool via hooks .
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
I will just add that I am also using Modern Events Calendar and I would really like to use Amelia, but I would have to have this feature to switch to Amelia.
I hope this feature will be available in the future in Amelia so you can become one of our users. Please check if there is such feature suggestion here https://wpamelia.cnflx.io/boards/feature-requests and vote for it, or make a suggestion if there isn't one.

Hi Marija
But wouldn't the description be visible then to anyone looking at the event, not just those who have booked it?
