I have two questions that have been asked. One is around the vouchers, the hairdressers shop that I have deployed this has many old people that do not book online, so the staff enter the details for the customer and in some cases these customers are allowed a voucher that has been created. However, when the staff add a new appointment through the system it does not have a field for adding the voucher code. This is a large issue for this client and I wanted to see if you have any solution for this?.
My last question is around searching for a user to see if the user has booked when he/she arrives at the site. It does not seem to sort usernames correctly in alphabetical order but remains mixed up and is hard to find someone quickly. Can this be index and sorted alphabetical by first name and second name?
If I search for say Mike Kemp, when I type Mike it shows all Mikes but when I then add a space and type Kemp so its (Mike Kemp) it shows all usernames starting with A. So not working as expected?
Unfortunately, we don't have vouchers - just coupons that you can send to customers, you can make them in Amelia. and when first appointment is booked you can set to send them automatically.
As to your second question, any chance you can send a screenshot, so that I can raise it with the dev team.
Please see attached around the customer name search. Also I was referring to the Coupons, the employer can not add these when adding an appointment, which is a shame as some clients cannot book through the front end as either too old or has no computer, yet the coupon needs be entered but cannot?
Coupons can only be used from the front-end, so if you need to create an appointment in the customer's side, you need to do it from front-end using Incognito mode.
When you say Incognito mode, do you mean just open the browser in Incognito mode and if so why would this make a difference?
I take it that if we do it this way it will use the user that is already in the system rather than trying to create a new user as we do not want duplicate usernames in the system
You need to open the appointment page via Incognito mode, so that you can see it as a client.
Can you please clarify your second question:
"I take it that if we do it this way it will use the user that is already in the system rather than trying to create a new user as we do not want duplicate usernames in the system"
my question was that if a customer say for example mike kemp was in the system and one of the employees wanted to book me an appointment and used incognito that it would be possible simply by adding my name. I have email and telephone number set as not required. So using my name and setting a date and time plus service will it know that it is the user mike kemp and work ok? Hope that is clearer
Unfortunately, if you disabled email and phone as mandatory fields, the system cannot register you as an existing customer using only your name. Your email is unique, however there could be many Mike Kemps.

Any news on this please?

Hi Mike,
I will pass that issue to our dev team.
To see if a customer has an appointment booked, he can use the search in the Appointments section:
Hi Mike,
In addition to my previous note,
Coupons can only be used from the front-end, so if you need to create an appointment in the customer's side, you need to do it from front-end using Incognito mode.

Very true Dan,
I will feed this information back. As for my first question around search, have you feed the information back to the developers?
Kind Regards
Mike
Hi Mike,
Yes, if you could also submit this here, it would be super useful.
