We have the employee portal set up for our contractors to use but it seems that they can't add their google or outlook calendar from the portal.
Can we only do it in the back end area of the employee? If so, it is asking for the employee to sign in but we don't want them using the back end, we want them to only use the portal. Is there a way that the calendar link can be added or shown in the portal?
Unfortunately, connecting your employees to their Google Calendar is not possible from the Panel; only from back-end. The issue here is that Google Calendar integration requires dynamic links, and links provided on the front-end panel can only be static.
Our developers will be working on this in the future, but unfortunately it is not possible with the built-in features of the plugin.
Unfortunately that makes the employee portal useless to us. The backend portal that was used previously for employees; can we possibly link the front end to this so they can sign into their google accounts? As it stands I don't have access to their google accounts for obvious reasons so can't do it from our dashboard either.
Sorry, Tania, but unfortunately connecting your employees to their Google Calendar is not possible from the Panel; only from back-end.
I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
