We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I offer courses for a 4 evenings. I made these multi day events. After the start (first evening is yesterday) the booking of this event should be closed.
In the backend the event is "not available". But on the front-end the event is available! But showing 3 dates (instead of 4). A costumer booked an course, but the first evening is in the past....
I think this is a bug. because there is a difference between frontend and backend.
I choose the "booking closing date" manual on the first date of the event. this fixes the problem. But the option "booking closes when event starts" should also mean "booking closes on first date of event". Now it reopens after the fist date, showing all dates except the days in the past.
Hello Dennis,
I am not sure if I understand the use case quite well - I created an event and if I leave the option Bookings closes when event starts, there isn't a possibility to book the event anymore when it started - same on front and in the back-end. If I choose the day when event ends instead of the option Bookings closes when event starts , the events stays open until the end of it and this is also the same on the back and on the front-end.
Hi Marija,
Thanks for your reply. the problem is with multiday events. I created an event for 4 days (monday-evening 4 weeks in a row, it's a course with 4 evenings).
In the front end you see the 4 dates with times.
But... after the first day the event is bookable in the front-end, only showing the next 3 dates. In the backend (admin panel) it shows the event "not bookable".
So this is specific for events with more than one date. This is easyto avoid by choosing the closing data manual. The default Bookings closes when event starts works during the first evening, but after the first day, the event is bookable again in the front-end.
The multiday event is visible in the frontend, but showing the next data, not the dates in the past. I expected the event to disappear after the first day. This is not a major problem, but a bit confusing.
Hi Dennis,
You are welcome.
Thank you for the explanation but I still can't reproduce that on our website. If I set an eveent with more dates, and leave the Bookings closes when event starts checked the event is closed when it starts.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look at the setup. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
