    Hi everyone , 


    I seem to not be getting the updates .  My version is still at 2.8 .  

    I thought I got an update in august but it seems that it didn't update . 

    I can no longer see the plugin in edit mode . 


    Please help

    Hello Denis, 

    Apologies for replying a bit later, we don't work on weekends. 

    Could you please tell me have you activated Amelia in Amelia -> Settings -> Activation with your purchase code? If yes, please deactivate and activate Amelia back on on the Plugins page , and check after that if you have the auto-update option for Amelia on that page. 

    If that doesn't help please update Amelia manually by following these instructions: 

    1) Download the zip from our store

    2) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins

    3) Delete existing ameliabooking folder

    4) Upload previously downloaded ameliabooking folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)

    5) Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section

    6) Deactivate Amelia Plugin, and then activate it again

    7) Clear server and browser cache

    ___________________________________________________________

    If you are using hosting where you are not allowed to your FTP  then follow those instructions:

    1) Download the zip from our store

    2) Delete Amelia plugin from WordPress Plugins page

    3) Click on Add new on Plugins page

    4) Click on Upload plugin on Plugins page

    5) Choose previously downloaded ameliabooking zip file

    6) When uploading is done, please Activate Amelia plugin

    7) Clear server and browser cache.

    Please note that our plugin have a size of around 8 MB so if yo are not able to upload the plugin through WordPress plugins page, then you need to increase following:

    upload_max_file size, 

    post_max_size ,

    max_execution_time

    You should be able to find these values in your php.ini file or on your hosting panel. If you can't find it yourself please ask your hosting provider to provide it.

    If i de-activate and re-activate will my appointments and information still remain on the plug-in . 

    I have about 4 months of appointments booked that I cannot afford to reprogram .

    Hello Denis

    Marija is out of office, so I'll take over the ticket.

    If you don't touch the database, all your data is safe. You can delete the plugin from the Plugins section, and your data will still be saved.

    Hi Aleksandar , 


    The plug-in will not let me deactivate .

    Its saying  " Unable to deactivate plugin. Please try again later. "  I've tired multiple times.

    I'm getting frustrated , 

    I have auto updates enabled in wordpress , why am i not getting the updates ?

    I contacted for support 6 days ago  ,

    Waiting a week for support is too long .

    Since I have requested for the update I haven't been able to see the plugin in edit mode .  

    The site is on a stand still

    Is there another way to get a hold of support for amelia ?   A quicker way of support ?

    Hello Denis

    Sorry, but we don't provide live support. Everything is handled through tickets.

    Since you cannot deactivate the license, there could be something wrong in the database, and that's something we need to look at.

    Can you please provide me database (phpMyAdmin or cPanel) access credentials, and a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. 

    We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. 

    You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
