The newest version of Amelia is 2.9.1, and we cannot revert your installation if that's what you were implying. If you uploaded the ameliabooking.zip file and wound up with v2.8, you probably uploaded the incorrect file.
When you enter your purchase code in Amelia settings/Activation, you are able to update the plugin through Dashboard/Updates.
