    Dear Suppport,

by now I'm a bit frustrated about wpDataTables for WordPress...
First I found that joins with existing wpDataTables are not easy or even not possible (e.g. create a List with filtered rows and link to another list to show additional values).
Today I tried to use Charts (e.g. Pie Chart).. and here the next frustration : only 2 columns can be added ?? I can't believe that, but even the video only show 2 --- is that a hidden "Licence Gap" ? In the Basic-Description you write "unlimited Tables, unlimited charts" ... but by now I'm limited every time i try to create something .. and my page have a dozen of Tables.  Ah - and here the last Frustration : Formidable-Forms -> I wonder why I purchased this .. as I see no advatange between self-my-SQL and Formidable - even worse : with FF-Plugin again I'm restricted (can't filter hidden by userid and so on..)

Depending on your answer I really look foward to get value out of this "great apparing plugin" .. but as written above : I'm frustrated and short about to request refund .. as I don't find anything valuable by now .. .

    kind regards

    Hello Stephan

Thank you for your purchase, and sorry to hear you're not finding the plugin useful for your case.

The plugin can create unlimited number of charts and tables, and I don't see you're having issues with the number of tables and/or charts. One chart can only be created from one table, and there's no way of using multiple tables for the same chart. Another limitation of charts is that you can use only one string-type column, that will be used for X axis labels. All other columns need to be integer or float. That's the default behavior of chart engines.

All chart engines that are integrated in wpDataTables are free, and they have basic functionalities. Pie charts do accept only two columns, one for labels, and the second one for values, so if you have this table:

You can create a chart like this:

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by your first issue, though. Are you using SQL joins, or are you trying to join two tables using plugin's built-in features?

You can't join two tables using anything other than SQL queries, if those tables exist in the database. If they are linked to an existing data source, there will be no corresponding table in the database, so you wouldn't be able to use SQL. Please show me some screenshots, and examples of how you're trying to join multiple tables, and I will provide a better answer for this.

The limitations of Formidable Forms Integration for wpDataTables are listed in our documentation, but in short:

    1. You can't edit tables created from Formidable Forms

    2. Both wpDataTables and Formidable Forms need to be installed in order for the Add-on to work

    3. Some features are not possible with these tables, and they are grayed out.

If you included the User ID column, auto-generated by Formidable Forms, you would be able to filter by it, you should only hide the column from view, in column settings.

    Kind Regards,
