We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Dear Team,
When a new customer book a training, I would like them to receive an automatic email that allows them to create an account with their own password on my website.
For the moment, the client has no option to create their own account, instead I have to manually create the client as new wordpress user and then go to users setting on wordpress and select them as "Amelia Customer".
Please let me know if we can bypass this manual process and allow the client to create an account automatically and receive the email notification with login and password.
Thank you very much for your reply
Bertrand
Hello Bertrand
Please go to Amelia settings/User roles/Customer and enable "Automatically create Amelia Customer user". That will create a new WP user account and link your new customers to that user. They will then receive an automated email from your WP site, where they can generate the password.
Amelia's Customer (and Employee) Panel log-in is different from any other log-in you have on your site (WordPress log-in, WooCommerce log-in, Memberpress log-in, or any other log-in you can create). At the moment, there is no way to link the two, so your customers have the same password for WooCommerce and Amelia. It is something frequently requested by our customers, and I do hope our developers will add that to the plugin soon, but I don't believe it's going to be any time soon.
I'll forward this to them again, but I'll kindly ask you to add it as a feature suggestion on this page. Features are pushed up on our "to-do" list when there are a lot of customers requesting those features, so having your vote as a customer can be beneficial to this feature being developed sooner.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
