i have a very important question about events and appointments.
I´m creating a site for a client. They provide daily explorer tours in nature.
My guess was to use events for this, because i am able to show events with the specific date. But now the clients are asking for a search functionality between all events and it seems that they aren´t part of the Amelia search.
If i create a service there is no way of showing it like events. Meaning that i have always to choose a date. In events the date is already visible and i can book it very easily. And a combination of services and events isn´t possible right?
Could you help me with a solution? How am i able to search for events on a special date or a specific location?

sorry for all the questions i have. I hope not bothering you.
For my client i created some events. Now they want to have the ability to put some gadgets on top, that the clients can order with the event-booking.
I know that it is possible with appointments and the extras feature. But unfortunately i can´t use it, because they have different specific dates and different periods of time.
My question is: Would it be possible to provide this events with the appointment feature, but only on specific days? Some event could be on monday, some other on tuesday. It is always different.
If not: do you have an idea how to provide a similar funktionality like extras on appointments for events? I´m using Woocommerce and i´m hiding the cart at the moment. But with the cart activated i could create product bundles. Unfortunately it´s only for one event. All other events do not need the extras feature. Maybe you have an idea? Would be very much appreaciated. Thank you for your patience and great support.

This can't be achieved with Events in Amelia unfortunately. There isn't some option that you can use as there is Extras for Services.
You can try using Services if possible for your use case - as there are Special days for the employees' work hours that override the employees' usual work hours set and I've seen users that don't have work hours configured at all, they just have these special days (dates/times) when the services are provided.
Hello Marja, unfortunately the services option doesn´t work. I created a solution with jquery. Not very elegant, but it works at the moment. You can close the issue.
