How was the table created? Was it imported, or is it linked to the Excel file? If you have 16 columns, all those columns should be in wpDataTables unless they are merged in some way.
Could you please provide me that Excel file, so I can test it? If it contains sensitive data, make sure to enable the PRIVATE response, since this ticket is public.
I got the file, and was able to create a table with 22 columns from it.
You have around 10 columns that don't have any headers:
Headers are mandatory when importing a file, since the plugin is creating a table in the database, so if you don't need those empty columns, you can simply delete them during the wizard.

I have created a table from an existing excel sheet. The excel has 16 columns, but only 8 appear and the others are not displayed.
How to handle that problem?
