    I am interested to use buy WP Data Tables in combination with Google Spreadsheet but could you please inform me about:

    • Does WP Data Tables show a cell from Google sheet which is an amount with a stripe trough? For promotions I would like a stripe through the old price.
    • I got many tables. Does WP Data Tables has the possibility to create directories and sub directories?
    • Is it possible to show a Google Spreadsheet with just 2 cells instead of a full colorful table? I just want to show "start at $25,-" Visitors must have the idea that it's just text instead of a table.

    Hello Edwin

    Thank you for your interest in wpDataTables.

    1. Unfortunately, strike-throughs are not carried over. Formatting applied in the original file (font families, color, size, fill color, etc.) will not be copied over to the wpDataTable, but you can make whatever adjustment you may need in WpDataTables.

    2. When you're creating tables linked to the Google Spreadsheet, they are not being stored in the database, it's a real-time connection, but it takes 10 - 15 minutes for new rows or edits to appear in a wpDataTable beacuse there's cache on Google's side. If you have multiple Google Spreadsheets, you would need to create a new table for all those Spreadsheets, and if you have multiple sheets (tabs) in one Spreadsheet, they will not be carried over into the plugin. Each sheet has its own URL, and you would need to create a new table for each sheet.

    3. The Spreadsheet needs to have a header and a cell with a value, so two cells can be pulled into the plugin. However, you're not able to pull a selection from a sheet. What you would need to do here is create a new sheet with IMPORTRANGE function (in Google Spreadsheets), that will only import a range like A1:A2 (for example). Then, you would use the URL of that new sheet to create a table.

    Dear Alesandar,

    Thank you for your information. If I understand well then WP Data Tables doesn't support my request.

    This because:

    •  I would like to show a table without a header. I just want to show 2 cells. An import range in Google sheets is to complicated for so many tables.
    • I do understand that I have to make a new table for every sheet but in the back end I would like to make categories for the the shortcuts. I would like to keep my table shortcuts for hotel prices in the category /hotels/Bangkok and my tours in Tours/South Thailand.

    Unfortunately I am not able to upload a table in your free version. I got the message that the table doesn't exist while it's there. Maybe a problem with my upload path. I see http://localhost/khemtitwp/wissuxyn/2020/08/ but I totally don't recognize "Wissuxyn" which is mentioned on the upload path only. I don't even have this folder. Just strange that I don't have any problems with other media files.
