Hi,
I have just purchased Master Data Detail tables for the following scenario:
Simplified, I have a MySQL table that contains:
Visitor | Country
Jan | Belgium
Jan | Belgium
John | United States
The master data table than needs to show:
Country | Nbr Of Visitors
Belgium | 2
United States | 1
If you than click on one of the rows you go to the details where you can see the original table again.
Is there a (creative) solution to achieve this?
Kind Regards
Hello David
Thank you for your purchase.
Unfortunately, Master-Detail doesn't work like that. It can only show actual data from the table - the columns you choose to include in Master-Detail.
Basically, you would need to have a column that would store these numbers, but it can't be done from within the plugin. Perhaps you could calculate this through a custom SQL query, but that's not something we can help you with since custom queries aren't included in the provided support for the plugin.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
