We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
1) I am using Amelia in one client (I am a web designer) and I just realized that my clients can see my Amelia license number (no ****** hidden it). That's terrible. They can just use it as many time times in other webs if they want. That should be solved urgently.
2) After amelia been correctly activated, when it asks for an update (I had set automatic updates) it says the license is not activated and I have to activate it again each time. That cannot be, because my clients then want be able to just update it as any other plugin installed on their webs.
Thanks and regards,
Isabel
Hello Isabel
1. You can change this in the database.
Please be careful when you update the table, because if you delete or add anything else, it can cause the plugin not to work properly.
When you access your database via PHPMyAdmin (or some other tool), access wp_options table:
It is possible that your prefix is not "wp_", but something else, so if that is the case, please look for "your_prefix_options" table.
When you access it, you can search through the column "option_name". Search for the term "amelia_settings":
The search will return only one row, and you need to edit it:
In "option_value" column, search for "showActivationSettings":
Change it from true to false, and save it. You will no longer see Activation settings in Amelia Settings.
2. I assume you're an AppSumo user, since you have 4 deleted PRO purchase codes. One of those codes was activated on amatisport.com, along with the DEVELOPER license, so that tells me the previous license wasn't properly deactivated. I deactivated the Pro license on that website, and now I can see that the developer license is active.
This should be the only reason why an issue like this would occur. Please check the purchase code on your websites, and verify they're all activated. If you face an issue with them deactivating on their own, please let us know.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi,
2) OK, thanks, I did not know
1) I think you should fix de plugin license matter, so that we do not have to enter data bases to change the visibility to false or true. I use many plugins like Elementor, ElementPack Pro, Crocoblock, etc etc and in any of them the activation key is visible (just *****).
Thanks
Hello again Isabel
I'll forward your suggestion to our development team.
