I just bought Amelia plug-in for a business who hired me to program their new website. They wanted their clients to book their own music courses. But sometimes, the mom books for her and her kids and they need to be on the same e-mail address because she's managing all the appointments... Is it possible to book two or more appointments with only one email address?
Is it possible to unlock (Online and on-site) locations at the same time? Because, with the present situation of COVID, the teachers have to teach sometimes in person and sometimes online during the same day. So I really need to unlock the both options to complete the setup for the website.
If you need one customer to book the same appointment for multiple people (mom + kids), you need to set the Service's capacity to be more than "1", and to enable "Bringing anyone with you". To add the names of other participants, you can add a custom field to that service. A customer with one email address would not be able to book one appointment multiple times, but if they need to book different appointments with one email address, you only need to disable "Check customer's name for existing email when booking" in Amelia Settings/Roles settings/Customer.
One employee cannot be assigned to more than one location at the same time, but you can either create a duplicate employee that will work on the second location, and then connect both employees to the same Google Calendar. When you do that, and enable "Remove Google Calendar Busy events" in Amelia settings/integrations/google calendar, when one employee has an appointment, the second one will be booked at the same time.
I tried to disable and enable the customer function ‘’Check customer’s name for existing email’’ but it doesn’t work. I’m not able to create any second customer with the same email address and it is a big problem at this moment for me.
It doesn’t want to save any customer when I click save.
What do you mean "it doesn't want to save any customer when I click save"?
You cannot save multiple customers with the same email address, the database doesn't allow that. Your existing customers are able to book an appointment from front-end with a different name, using the same email, but it will never create a new customer with the same email address in the system.
