Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    1. Location not sent through to Google Calendar

It appears that even if location is added in appointments, it is no passed through to the Google Calendar appointment which is something you must be able to do through your api connection.

The huge issue with this is now that Google is automatically adding in Google Meet into every calendar booking, it will create chaos for clients when we are using our own webinar system (not zoom).

Please please can you look at adding in the location set in appointments and events.

    2. Events do not send a Google Calendar invite.

It appears that only appointments create a Google Calendar invite.

    3. Pending appointements do not send Google Calendar invite after being changed to Approved.

On testing it appears that the Google Calendar invite only works if the appointment is setup in settings as auto approved.

Thanks for looking into these isses which will affect all your clients who do want to use Google Calendar to make appointments easier for them and their clients.

    Hello Daniel,

    1.

For any information that you want to have in Google calendar from appointments in Amelia, you can add placeholders to the fields Event Title and Event Description which you will find in Amelia -> Settings -> Integrations -> Google calendar settings. You can find all the placeholders when you click on </>Show Email Placeholders in Amelia -> Notifications, by clicking on the placeholder in the list you copy it and then you can paste that placeholder to the above mentioned fields in Amelia Settings.

One of our users recently mentioned that the Google meet links can be disabled in. Google, so please check the settings there. It isn't possible to disable them from Amelia.

    2. The Google synchronization in Amelia works for Services only, it doesn't work for Events unfortunately.

    3. Pending appointements do not send Google Calendar invite after being changed to Approved.

    We will check this out.

There is an option for your to choose whether you want to add the pending appointments to Google calendar when they are booked or not in Amelia -> Settings -> Google calendar settings, it is the option Insert Pending Appointments ,  so if you want the Pending appointments in Google as well please enable this option.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
