Hello, I am an experienced website designer building a booking website for a cleaner.
She would like to bill clients privately, but not on the website.
So she would like the price to show as "TBD" or "Custom" She would THEN like to be able to call the customer, get the square foot info, etc, and then decide the price, and type it in on the website, and the client then be able to pay that amount.
What is the best way to do this custom billing with your plugin?
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
All services in Amelia need to have a fixed price, and what you're looking for to achieve is not possible. The only way I see it possible is if there was a service you haven't added to any publically accessible pages. That is, if there's a page website visitors can't navigate to through the website.
Then, you can place one of Amelia's shortcodes on that page and when your client agrees on the price with their customer, they would change the service's price, and send them the link to that page.
