We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Hi, I am new to mySQL and wpDataTables and I'm having a hard time understanding how this works. I have a table, that I need to show in different places with slightly different columns. I need the data from the table specified above, but I need to hide columns 2-5 and add a few more columns. Then I need a new table exactly like this second table, but so that it only shows data with xxx in one of the columns (drop down list). Could you help with this?

    With kind regards,

    Erica

    Hello Erica

I can't see any tables on that page:

If you have a manual table, you can see its database name in the "Editing" tab above the table:

You can see the columns' default headers in column settings:

So, when you create a new SQL query based table (Table linked to an existing data source -> SQL), you'd add:

    SELECT email, name, column3, column5, column10 FROM wp_wpdatatable_1

So only those columns will be used in that table.

If you're using a condition, you can add:

    SELECT email, name, column3, column5, column10 FROM wp_wpdatatable_1
    WHERE column3 = 'xxx'

    I hope that helps.

    Kind Regards,
