We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
hi
We have a new problem. The appointment bookings wont complete. All the things on the website are the same except the new employee I added yesterday and an extra hour on a service at the end of the day - neither of which we are trying to use here - clients are calling all saying they try to make a booking and after pressing button to post booking form it just sits with the rotating logo and does not complete.
Wordfence on the wordpress site has mentioned a file
sorry. File cpanel mentions is xmlrpc.php.
Is this file needed for Amelia?
There is a plugin to turn it off but don't know if that is the problem I've pasted the cpanel error
Wed Aug 19 05:24:52.882177 2020] [access_compat:error] [pid 3179:tid 4751787616####] [client 5.62.35.##:####] AH01797: client denied by server configuration: /home/ezeexxxx/public_html/xmlrpc.php
This problem is in the front end as we can still see and add appointments and add clients to the existing appointments in the backend,
Fixed
I ended up deleting HTACCESS file in cpanel and saving the permalinks from the WP site to create a new one. All came back.
Hello Neil
Thank you for letting us know the issue was resolved.
I will forward the situation to our developers, so they can check it locally.

Just an addition, before the original fault 2 days ago I had added a url for a page to go to after booking, I put in the same page as it could have been on (on my site Gym Booking page / or Class Booking Page). Now before resolving issue I had taken these redirects back out and it still didn't work. So i then did the HTACCESS delete. Once it was working again and thinking that the redirect would not be the issue, I put it back on one service, and low and behold the fault re-occurred, so took out the redirect and again had to delete the HTACCESS file and it worked.
It may not be the reason but was very coincidental if not.
Regards
Neil
Hello Neil
Can you show me which value you added as a redirect URL? Please provide me some screenshots, if you can.
