We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi there,
I've set a 30 minute buffer before my appointments in Amelia but it's also adding this buffer time on to my client's booking in their calendar, stating that the meeting is starting 30 minutes earlier than the meeting time.
How can I get it to just show that additional 30 minute blocked out time in my calendar only?
Many thanks
Gemma
Hello Gemma,
You can choose whether you want or you don't to have the buffer times added as well to your Google calendar and this is done in Amelia -> Settings -> Integrations -> Google Calendar. So if you don't want them to be added to Google disable the option Include Buffer time in Google events there.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
Hi Marija,
Just to confirm, I DO want the buffer time to be added to MY Google calendar. But I don't want it to be added to my CLIENT'S calendar.
My clients are complaining that the meeting start time is earlier than they'd booked it for.
So if the meeting was booked for 11am, the 30 minute buffer time is making it so the appointment time, for my client, is 10.30am.
There has been a bit of confusion.
I need to be able to block buffer time in my calendar but not in my client's calendar.
Hello Gemma,
I see your point, but unfortunately, this is not possible, as one Google event is created for one appointment and all attendees are added to this event - so both employee and customers - this event is created with a start and end time and it can only have one start and end time for everyone added to that event. So, this is why the Google event can't have one time for employees and another time for the customers.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
