We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi there,
I would like to know if the following is possible with Amelia, or if not > if this will be something that will be a feature in the (near) future.
Case:
- Each day from 14.00 - 16.00 there is a Guided City Tour for which people can make a booking.
- A max. of 15 people is allowed on one tour.
- It is possible to accept more than 15 people, but than an extra tour (employee) will take place.
- The cost for the tour is tip-based. So people decide how much the would like to pay after the tour is over.
- So therefore the "employees" earnings depends on the number of people joining the tour and how much they pay as a tip in the end.
- There are multiple "employees" ( mostly 2/3) available for the time slot.
So I would like to be able to achieve the following:
- When 1-11 people book > those are assigned to Employee nr. 1
- When more - so 12-30 people book the people who booked are evenly divided between employee 1 and employee 2.
- So starting from 12 and more, there must be some rearrangement of the reservations, so that they are evenly divided.
- To make it extra hard... people who booked more than one person, so who booked together, should stay in the same group > so with the same employee.
Hope I explained clear enough what I am trying to achieve... AND I hope this is something which Amelia can or will offer as a feature :).
I look forward to your response.
Thanks, Kasper
Hi Kasper,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
We don't have the exact option to rearrange and divide people between employees but you would be able to create two Events and put for both maximum capacity 15 and once the first one is booked the other one would stay open for booking. For the first event you can assign the first employee and for the second one the second employee.
Best regards.
