Amelia is running on my site. in general it works. problems happen on different PC's and different browsers.
Randomly it just does not show a whole day of appointments for a service, or just individual time slots are not there. The services and employees are available and the time slots are perhaps for a service which has 13 time slots a day and 30 spaces on each (it booking gym time slots). so the appointments are definitely available and definitely not full
If this happens in the back end and I go into the same time slot as through the front end the appointments and days all show. and if it is faulty it in the front end then going to booking in the backend they will be there.
I have had customer ring to say they cant see time slots and then I can log in and see them.
Possibly the same problem, trying to add a customer to an appointment, edit appointment pick them from the list, and they show there, save it and they don't show on the appointment. go back into edit appointment and thy are not there, try again and still no joy. In this instance I logged out of MS Edge and logged back in through back in through Chrome and repeated the exact same process and it worked.
I have had the fault in one browser and its worked logging into the other, and it has happened the other way round as well.
May have found the issue is the way I'm approaching it.
I think the missing appointments in the backend are that one or two people have booked a time slot, then I cant make a new appointment in the back end for an individual, I need to find the time slot and edit it to add that person.
The other issue may be that I have 2 gym areas set up as separate services, I originally made an employee called 'Gym Session', and assigned that employee to two services, Gym and Ladies Gym. So I think if timeslot was booked in the gym, the person 'Gym Session' was no longer available to cover the Ladies Gym and so no appointments were shown. So I have now made a new employee called 'Ladies Gym' .
So just need to fathom out why I had problems adding an existing customer to an existing appointment.
Yes, when someone already booked one time slot, and if that is a group appointment, it isn't possible for you to create separate appointment in the back-end for that time slot/appointment, but you need to add the new customer to the already created appointment. On the front-end, these time slots will show up properly, since when customers book these they are added to the already created appointments. These are group appointments in Amelia , so they are created as one appointment in the back-end with multiple customers.
The number of employees assigned to services is equal to the number of appointments that can be booked at the same time. So, it isn't possible to book more appointments (different services) with the same employee at the same time in Amelia with its current built-in features. So, if you want more appointments at the same time, the solution would be creating more employees and assigning them to different services, like you did.
Could you please tell me the exact appointment where you tried to add a new customer and it didn't work? So I can reproduce the issue?
