We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I am creating a site for a client. The requirement of the client is as follows:
They want a website for booking consultations based on number of hours.
The employee is themself and currently there is only one location so I don't want to mention employee and location in the appointment form.
Coming to the next part, the consultation sessions can be 1/2/3/4/5 hours long. I have read the support forum and I understand that the plugin right now doesn't allow for having custom hour booking on the front end.
So, my question to you is if I make 5 different services : 1h consultation, 2h consultation and so on...and then allot time slots in the day, the purpose would be achieved. However, what would happen if one customer books 1h slot from 12-1 pm and another customer books a 3h slot from 11am-2pm ? Will the system accept both ?( since the service type is same) Or will the system see if the "employee" (which in my case is the client, is available or not...)
Please answer this question asap.
HI Vidhu,
Thank you for your inquire.
"what would happen if one customer books 1h slot from 12-1 pm and another customer books a 3h slot from 11am-2pm ? Will the system accept both ?( since the service type is same) Or will the system see if the "employee" (which in my case is the client, is available or not...)"
If you have only 1 employee that is providing all the service that other time slot will not be available for booking.
But if you have more than one employee(client) then both appointments will be booked.
So the time slots and availability is connected with the employee.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
