Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi,

I'm hoping to use amelia to manage my membership site. I'm teaching Yoga and I'd like people to join a members area where they have all access to the classes I offer. I'm guessing that I can do it with a discount code for my members so they can register for classes easily and I can still offer my classes to the public but not sure if its an option.

If so can Amelia manage payments for the membership? It's a monthly subscription

    Thanks for any help,

    Linda x

    Hello Linda

    Thank you for your purchase.

We don't have any integration with membership plugins, but one of our customers offered a workaround:

I use memberpress as membership plugin. Memberpress has a addon to link my membership levels to any wordpress user role. So I have linked my levels to the Amelia Customer user role. So each time a member sign up, also assigns the member to Amelia Customer. During the first appointment, all fields are grayed out since Amelia recognizes them as existing customer! This is perfect for me.  You may want to share this technique with others that want similar solution (even with other membership plugin).

Basically, you can utilize the coupons and provide them to your paying members, so they get a discount for services offered at standard prices for non-members, yes.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks for you're reply and Apologies I think I worded my question incorrectly. I was hoping to see an option in Amelia for my members to book a monthly class or monthly appointments.

I tried the recurring appointment option which seems to have a limit. Two classes is the default from the customer's end and they can select the calendar to choose to increase the time of the recurring appointment but there is still a limit of 1 year.

Is there any possibility of billing the customer for a monthly recurring appointment for an unlimited time?

    Hello Linda

I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.

Maybe you could use this workaround.

You can create a service which would be named "Bulk Purchase" for example, and it would cost a certain amount. Then, you would need to create a 100% discount coupon which could be used 9 times, and limit the usage to 9 per customer, like this:

My advice would also be to enable the notifications, so they get an e-mail with the discount coupon, explaining that they need to use the coupon for the remaining 9 sessions:

You would need to add the %coupon_1% placeholder to the e-mail, so they get the coupon code they can use.

After someone books the first appointment, they receive an e-mail with it, and they use it to book the remaining 9 sessions.

    I hope this helps.
