We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi there ,
I’ve configured all I need to start my website and I put the short code [ameliabooking] on my homepage .
i then launched my page and the hourglass just spins . It will not load .
Could you please help ASAP , I’m on a deadline .
Thank You
Hi Denis,
Thank you for contacting us. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing some issues with our plugin.
Can you please tell me did you make at least one employee and one service and assign that service to the employee to make a connection? In our plugin it is necessary to create at least one employee and service and to connect them so the plugin can work properly (or make employee and event if you use only events).
Best regards.
yes I did ,
I have 2 employees and 5 services .
Everything is assigned .
This is a pretty terrible way to get support considering this plugin is going to be the heart of my business.
It sounds to me like there are no times set up (either in services or business hours)
can I ask a question, did you update Wordpress AFTER you installed the plugin?
I know there was an issue where the plugin had an issue connecting to the database due to the recent version of WP.
if the above time issue isnt root cause, I would look at that
upi might need to add the following line to wp-config.php
define( 'WP_ALLOW_REPAIR', true ) ; and then launch the following URL
https://yourwebsite.domain/wp-admin/maint/repair.php
that should solve the issue
Thank you for your help Pol.
Denis, I checked your website and saw that the calendar now loads correctly, so I suppose you ended up adding working hours to your employee, or was there another thing that resolved the issue?
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

I deleted everything and started back from scratch.
This time i didn’t update Wordpress , I thought maybe that was the issue ? But everything seems to be working so far ! Thank you for the follow up .
Hi again Denis
The only thing you need to do after you update to WordPress 5.5 is delete cache on your website, and Amelia should be fine.
We have a lot of installations already on WordPress 5.5, and the only thing that can cause this issue is either cache.

Thanks for your replies guys !
If I use extras for my additional time on my appointments , the option is before the book the initial time . Is there a way around this ?
Hi again Denis
Unfortunately, no. Extras can only be added before you select the time slots, because extras can have extra durations, and if you select a time slot first, then the extra, there's good chance that extras won't be able to fit because of the next appointment.

Thanks for the reply Aleksandar,
I figured out how to get it going for what I need. The service we offer is a two hour minimum but I was able to use the extras to give the option to add 30 min and 1 hour increments to extend the service.
Could you take a look at the site www.getamaid.ca and look at my https://getamaid.ca/book-a-service/ page. Is there a way to stack the blocks in this view ?
Thanks again for your help , its much appreciated .
Denis
Hi again Denis
I'm glad to hear you got it to do what you need.
I can see http://www.getamaid.ca/ is using [ameliabooking] view, and here https://getamaid.ca/book-a-service/ you added [ameliacatalog].
I don't understand your question. You can't combine blocks from [ameliacatalog] in [ameliabooking] view if that's what you meant.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
