Employee panel capabilities

I know it is not possible at the moment (Amelia version 2.9) but, as it is an extremely important feature for me (otherwise employee panel is almost useless in order to attend customers by phone):

Have you planned to let employees (from the frontend employee panel) add new customers (and not only select existing ones)?

If so, is there an estimate date?

    Thank you.

    Hello Alvaro

As you know, Amelia Employee is not intended to have a capability of adding a new customer.

The user roles are defined like this, and only Administrators and Amelia Managers are able to create new customers. This feature can be added to an employee, so the Amelia Employee user role needs to be customized. However, as a custom solution it won't be included on the employee panel, as the user role itself was never intended to have that capability.

This customization can only work from back-end, though, but not in the panel.

There have been a few suggestions like this in the past couple of weeks, so I believe if you (our customers) keep adding the suggestion on this page, our development and management teams will surely push it up on our "to-do" list. The order in which we're developing new features is based on feature requests - more times a feature is requested, more likely it will be developed.

I sure hope they'll be able to add it soon, but I don't have any ETA about it.

    Kind Regards,

    Aleksandar Vuković
